my cousin wrote a book....

my cousin nate, whom many of you have met, wrote a book, got it published and is selling it on amazon.com in mid december and via his website (click title above). its called "the u book." check it if intrested...

love and light,
have a safe break

here is the intro....

I am uneeda. My name is Nathan Pierce. This is my book. I made it
myself. My sister’s guidance and corrections made it bearable to
read. I did not add any parts to make myself look better. I did however,
take out or omit completely, parts that made me look worse.

It is actually two books together. The first book is a compilation of
journal entries of two separate journeys I have made in my life. The
second is a compilation of my poems distributed randomly
throughout. The photos I have taken myself or taken from friends.
They are okay with it.

Put it on a bookshelf. Leave it on your table. No one will think it isn’t
a book. It measures 12” x 9” x 1”. It won’t stop a bullet, but if used
as a coaster it will keep the condensation of a glass of water from
ruining your fine wooden table. You can smush bugs with it, though
my wife discourages that. She believes in the power of life, that we
should not take any life but what can be truly revered.

I am not here to preach. I made this for you, the reader. You are
going to take what you want from it anyway. So take it. It’s yours.
Be fruitful and do long division. I included scriptures from the Bible.
The scriptures are used to emphasize the hope of the poem they
accompany. I did have a scripture for every single poem, but then
realized that maybe only I could see the connection, so only added a
scripture reference, if the connection was clear.

The title is bit unusual. I was going to call it “Jewel, Ri¢h,” in honor
of Richard Jewell. He was the man who said he felt like a hunted
animal when the mass (hysteria) media blamed him for planting a
backpack bomb full of nails at the 2000 Olympic Games in Atlanta.
The only person he could thank for believing in him when the (back
page) story came out that he was actually the man who saved
hundreds of lives by evacuating the area when he saw the bomb,
was his own mother, who never doubted him at all. But I am not
really interested in making social commentary.

In honor of the fragility of life I was going to call it, “Copious
Amounts of Water,” for what it takes to get any of us anywhere. But
if people pick up a book with a title like that and don’t immediately
see hydrological information, the book gets set back down.

To steal a line from the book itself, I was going to call it, “Peace’s in
the Whole of Your Soul.” But with a title like that a book is only
perused by people interested in peace or soul, and I want to
eliminate limitations.
Because of the direction society has taken in regard to life on the
planet, I was going to call it “Before the Dandelions,” in reference to
the noxious weeds being introduced into my country since boats
have sailed the seven seas. How great the place must have been
before cities and roads and telephone poles. But that is just living in
the past.

The life we now have and our attitude toward it is, in some ways,
the amplification of the prayer in our hearts. So I was going to call
it, “What Are You Honoring?” But that is too supercilious. So then I
was going to call it, “What are you, ornery?” because ornery rhymes
with honoring, and attitude is essential in honoring your self. But
that is just silly.

In the end I wanted a book that would not be defined by a time, a
place, or a philosophy. I wanted something simple that did not make
any more out of itself than needed. Something to be held openly, and
set down closedly. I am uneeda, I made it for you, and so that is
what I will call it. The u book.

I highly suggest this website for some really informative, well done videos....There's one about the Second Life which looks really interesting...Here's something I suggest watching, a talk with Francis Fukuyama who wrote an essay in 89 called the "End of History" which nearly served as a bible for neo-conservative agenda...He revisits it in June to clarify what he meant, and what he thinks now, 17 years later and 7 years after the rise of George W. Bush

If you click Open Tools you can go to certain "chapters' of the talk

dozemay mentioned this video that i found a while ago.... pretty cool

ello lo

quick thought...

Early Chinese thought, which led later to Confucism and Taoism, is based in centralized Harmony. This harmony exists all around us and it is our personal responsibility to discover and participate in that harmonious existance. Life, in this thought, is constructed of personal and impersonal forces that function in accordance with interconnected relationships that change in dynamic ways. By understaning the dynamics that outline the interplay and relation of the constant change, we have a window into the truth of the world's existance. With this understanding, we become better equipped to live in true harmony with ourselves, family, nature, society and the universe.
The early chinese interest in astronomy/astrology stemmed from noting the still position of the north star and the change in the constellations that rotate about it. There is a harmonious, dynamic relationship between the relatively still polaris star, and the ever changing universe of cosmic matter around it. The study of the stars is a metaphor for life and a hint at the ways in which to explore deeper understanding.

Hillary has a plan!! Give socialized medicine a chance.

If you know you are going to vote anti-bush next year, but that is the only reason you can think of to defend your vote for the Democratic forerunner, than it's time for you to go rent SICKO. Hillary is out there everyday putting herself in the line of fire defending our rights to equal and just medical care.

And if you are leaning towards Obama, don't back down. Stand up for what you believe! Obama can talk the talk and walk the walk, and let me tell you from a female perspective, the man is smooth. Just because he has only been in the Senate for eight years, does not mean he does not have enough experience. Guilani was only mayor of New York for seven years. That's it. That's all of the government experience he's got and it looks like he's got the Republican party wrapped around his 9x11 inch finger. Denver elected a bar-owner (Wynkoop) their mayor. Come on.... I'd be proud to stand behind Obama as he continues to forge his fight for cleaner air and water.

Remember it's really all about the cabinet as they are our "most trusted advisors." We need to start cleaning up this infallable, incomprehesible mess the current administration has drop kicked our @sses into.

Check this out:

WASHINGTON (MarketWatch) -- President Bush vetoed legislation Tuesday funding federal health and education programs, marking the latest turn in an ongoing budget fight with the Democratic-led Congress.
"The bill is nearly $10 billion over the president's request and is filled with 2,000 earmarks. He will call on Congress to take out the pork and reduce the overall spending level and return it to him quickly," White House spokeswoman Dana Perino told reporters aboard Air Force One as Bush traveled to Indiana to deliver a speech on the budget.
Democrats said Bush lacks credibility on budget issues. The $606 billion bill -- which would provide funding for the departments of labor, health and human services, and education -- passed the House of Representatives just three votes short of a veto-proof majority.
House Appropriations Committee Chairman David Obey, D-Wis., said that the package cleared the House with the votes of 50 Republicans and that Bush was playing "pure politics."
"The same president who is asking us to spend another $200 billion on the misguided war in Iraq and is insisting on providing $60 billion in tax cuts next year to folks who make over a million bucks a year, is now pretending to protect the deficit by refusing to provide a $6 billion increase to crucial domestic investments in education, health care, medical research and worker protections that will make this country stronger," Obey said.
Bush also signed into law legislation that funds the Pentagon's $471 billion non-war defense budget.

So in conclusion - GO RENT SICKO - burn copies of it for Christmas and pass it out to all your friends... Hillary has a plan!!

American Indian...Quantum Physics...Life

If anyone watched the Nassim Haramein video or have seen him speak or really have any interest in unified theory this may interest you....I opened up a book called Sacred Hoop the other day and within the first page this is what I found...

"There is a spirit that pervades everything, that is capable of powerful song and radiant movement, and that moves in and out of the mind. The colors of this spirit are multitudinious, a glowing, pulsing rainbow. Old Spider Woman is one name for this quintessential spirit, and Serpent Woman is another, and what they together have made is called Creation, Earth, creatures, plants, and light."

I'm sure we've all seen or heard glimpses of this Native wisdom....those people had it right, its a shame we fucked them, too bad etc, etc....but the way I see it, is enough generations have passed where populations of American people (and lets just forget about that government for now), but American people, who have grown here, on this land and no longer carry prejudice against other types of people. I feel as if this is a relatively new thing, so maybe we are the new, new natives....and with what Nassim is doing in physics, we can probably prove many of the "beliefs" the once noble stewards of this land had.

"Thought woman is not limited to a female role in the total theology of the Keres people. Since she is the supreme Spirit, she is both Mother and Father to all people and to all creatures. She is the only creator of thought, and thought precedes creation."

"The concept of power among tribal people is related to their understanding of the relationship that occur between the human and nonhuman worlds. They believe that all are linked within one vast, living sphere, that the linkage is not material, but spiritual, and that its essense is the power that enables magical things to happen. Among these magical things are transformation of objects from one form to another, the movement of objects from one place to another by teleportation, the curing of the sick (and conversely creating sickness), communication with animals, plants, and nonphysical beings (spirits, katsinas, goddesses, and gods), the compelling of the will of another, and the stealing or storing of souls."

I got extremely stoked after I watched Nassim's speech a couple times, there's another one on Google Video that is worth watching. It really seems to me most of what he says is not too far off in our lifetime, especially because I've had dreams about numerous things he's said.

I guess really what I am trying to get at, is we are all citizens of the world and universe before anything else....this "country" is totally fucking with my head, and maybe its just because its an extremely sick, as in ill, organism...can we make sure the true roots of where we live carry on past the days of the red, white and blue?

Something else, on the post below there is a bit about the Maharishi University of management and they are a school that is continuously practicing what dozemay was saying about that princeton study....all the students and faculty practice trancendental meditation and there's a talk on their video website where their head physicist talks about world peace through this process...i've been thinking more and more about the whole world as this beautiful blue/white light running through everything...i had a dream that i saw this cat that was the form of a cat but just the same blue/white light....cheers everybody, somethin to think about, have a great week
